18th Annual Symposium: Green, in a Word, Is Good
October 6, 2021 @ 8:00AM — October 7, 2021 @ 12:00PM Central Time (US & Canada)
Join Bayou Preservation Association, regional experts, and local agencies as we focus on green infrastructure as our path to a sustainable and resilient future. **Admission includes BOTH days**
This year, we will focus on green infrastructure as our path to a sustainable and resilient future. We will hear from local agencies and experts about how implementing nature’s best practices enhances our quality of life and the region’s economic future by giving us better water quality, improved protection from extreme storm events, and enhanced outdoor recreational opportunities.
To contribute to the discussion, we have invited representatives from AECOM, Allen Boone Humphries Robinson LLP, Ashlar Development, Association of Water Board Directors, BGE, Inc., BioHabitats, City of Ann Arbor, City of League City, City of Houston, EHRA Engineering, Finca Tres Robles, Harris County, the Kinder Institute of Urban Research, and Waller County.
The Symposium has become a sought-after event among key policy makers, planners, scientists, and engineers who value the expertise presented throughout the event. After the resounding success of last year’s virtual, 2-day event, we are looking forward to engaging an even broader audience on emerging water quality issues and possible solutions.
